Hi, I have bought a Lenovo W500 and have found that instead of a Mobility FireGL V5700 GPU(Device ID 9595), I have a Mobility Radeon HD3650 GPU(Device ID 9591) modded to work like a FireGL. See it here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=319216
The ISV video drivers do not work for many W500 owners and it is frustrating.
Is it an ATI practice of selling Mobility Radeons to Notebook Manufacturers and advertise them as Mobility FireGLs?
