I am new to this Community. Please help guide me if this needs question/discussion needs to be in some other area.
Has Anyone achieved successful auto negotiation with 10gbe KR link?
My System info:
- AMD SoC Seatlle (Opteron A1100)
- Ethernet Link Partner = Intel FPGA
- OS: Debian/Ubuntu. I have downloaded & installed latest Linux Kernel (ver 5.15) -- which has all the latest fixes for the amd-xgbe driver.
Observation: AN never completes -- both link partners stay stuck in Auto Negotiation Phase. From the FPGA I can see that AMD chip is not sending the DME packets. FPGA is seen to be sending different packets.
Any help / suggestion from anyone will be super helpful.
