Re: Deadpool

first time CNCing a distribution plate

20190720_092211.jpg20190720_092155.jpgtest piece

20190721_092829.jpg20190721_094654.jpg20190721_094723.jpg

i found a few issues, couple spots leak, tap from the wrong side, and a few more minor issues, like screw hole location and such. i have to fine tune the cnc before milling the final piece. i use 1" acrylic try to get the reservoir to be as big as possible. i was worry about been such a small reservoir the return will be to turbulent.

first dry fit.

after the first wet test, i found i was right the return was too turbulent. so time to pull out the cnc to add a big reservoir

i dont see the right side of the case much but still want to cover up the rad and the cables

final product

top view, this is how most people will see the rig. since i put it right next to my TV, the so the left hand side is somewhat block by the tv and the right hand side will face a wall.20190727_174916.jpg20190727_175004.jpg

Re: Deadpool

Rad: always alpha cool, this time I only use 30/240mm full copper, even though the 20 vt is one of the biggest itx case out there, but still a small case, so I went with a thinner rad to show avoid space issue.

since I am OCD, so fans/led and CPU block are Thermaltake.

GPU block is always ekwb brand alone with the fluid

alphacool D5 pump

fitting is mostly barrow and some bitspower. i personally prefer barrow over bitspower.

average temp is about 45c with play games. room temp is about 25-27c.

Re: Deadpool

only summer I can log some hours on the CNC. one more year before i got my ME degree, then I should have more time to play with CNC, 3d printer and laser cutter.
