My colleague Warren had published this blog article late last year 2021. The article describes a new feature called "Auto Overclocking" which was part of the AMD Radeon Software release.
"Gamers who have a PC powered by the latest AMD Ryzen™ 5000 series processor and AMD Radeon™ 6000 series graphics card can now take advantage of a new, simple to use, auto overclocking feature found in AMD Radeon Software."

I hope this post, along with the earlier one, help get conversations started here, the new AMD Red Team Overclockers Group!
Yes. the new overclocking tab is nice and all, but I am not sure that it keeps my card overclocked after it is enabled. (I am running a Radeon VII with a Ryzen 5800X)
I have an Ryzen 7 5800X and an RX6900XT and the overclock stays active but it loads default values too many times.
I agree, the software doesn't stay overclocked most of the time.
