Hi Michael,
I'm just curious (and learning about overclocking), was your goal to reach the highest value (i.e. 11186) while keeping the voltage as low as possible? And was the 4.5Ghz the speed you overclocked to?
PS. If you have second, can you help me by responding to the questions I mentioned in the link?
I was trying to reach max possible overclocked regardless of how high the voltage was required to reach the goal. I stuck at 4.5 GHz though and can't seem to raise up the voltage and the clock without crashing when running Cinebench.
Hi Michael,
Did you do this with Ryzen Master or with other software. I am trying to overclock my laptop with a ryzen 5, 5500u but Master does not work. Curious about how you did this.
Thank you!
I used the bios and a calculator.
laptops generally are poor overclockers. They use lower power chips and its hard to upgrade any cooling solutions.
I have a Ryzen 5500 in one of my LAN computers, so I kinda want to try this. However, I just have a low-end air cooler on it. I do have a spare Corsair liquid cooler sitting around NIB though..... hmmmm

New record you say?
Did a quick test and seems that silicone lottery was kind to me for once.
Humble 11285 with 4645 MHZ overclock and i'm pretty sure i can easily push my 5500 to go beyond that. ^^
