Unable to lock maximum GPU clocks under factory set maximum value.

Plain and simple.

Problem is that my setup isn't able to stay stable under maximum clocks which were set at factory. Every time GPU noticed it can use higher clocks it will use them.

It's very useful that GPU reacts this way, but it will crash every time at some point because this.

Answer is simple, make it so GPU clocks wont go to unstable area, but how?

I have tried almost everything I know, including some third party software without much luck.

Stable area is 1050 MHz memory and 950 MHz core clocks. unstable factory maximum is 1200 MHz memory and 1100 MHz core clocks.

My main setup is: AMD HD 7850 series, AMD Phenom X6 1055T, M4A88T-M USB3.

PS. I have quite lot of experience about this stuff and that is only reason i am asking this here. I trust you. Good luck commander!

Re: Unable to lock maximum GPU clocks under factory set maximum value.

As discussed in the other thread pertaining to this, if the hardware is suffering from a failure of some sort and the software is unable to write new information to it whatever data is currently programmed is what it is going to operate at.  A GPU that crashes at stock, supported, values is most likely on its way out.
