I need help.

Hello guys. Few days ago i bought Philips monitor. 23.5 inch. That's is more than enough to set 1920x1080 screen resolution.

When i try to set that screen resolution it shows me max resolution is 1600x1200 and that bother me so much.

Thank you

Which cable are you using for the connection? VGA?  Have you tried a different cable or input?

Video drivers good?

Yes. I am using VGA cable. I haven't because i got this VGA cable with monitor so i thought he is not damaged or nothing else.

You think I should try another cable?

Assuming that your monitor supports 1080p, then the most likely cause here is a faulty cable. A lot of times cheap (or damaged) cables don't meet the spec's impedance requirements. If it is a low quality cable, it's best if you can test with a cable from a different (and hopefully higher quality) manufacturer.

23.5" doesnt say anything about possible resolution

PLEASE tell me your screen model - and check yourself if it supports 1080p

On the monitor's box it says Full HD 1920x1080 so i think it does support 1080p
