How do you assign your AMD dGPU to applications in a laptop with switchable graphics?

Hi there,

I have a Dell Precision 7710 Mobile Workstation with an Intel HD 530 (I think) and an AMD FirePro W7710M dGPU.

Is there any way (other than disabling switchable graphics in the BIOS) to switch graphics on demand, or assign the dGPU to certain applications? (i.e. Xsplit, Photoshop, Visual Studio, etc.).

Thanks in advance,

Hi alexkywalker does this help answer your question: How to Configure Laptop Switchable Graphics ? Towards the middle and near the bottom there's a section on how to assign specific applications to GPUs. As long as you can find the %%path%% to the apps (X-Split, Photoshop etc)

Cheers!
