cannot enable cores on a 1700 ryzen cpu that I disabled with AMD Ryzen Master utility

I used Ryzen Master utility to disable 2 core on my 1700 ryzen cpu to see if it would run cooler. When I tried to enable them back I get the error: "Number of cores disabled lesser than current cannot be applied. this requires power cycle. I assume. power cycle means reboot. I uninstalled Ryzen master utility but still have only 6 cores in my 8 core processor. I'm hoping someone can help me get the 8 cores back. Or have I just turned my 8 cor Ryzen cpu into a 6 core?

did you try loading default settings on the bios/EFI?

I have the same issue. Resetting the BIOS is the wrong way to fix the problem. Don't want to take a sledgehammer to kill a fly.

Ryzen Master - why do you have to be such a POS?

It is helpful to have a UEFI setting saved under the user profiles.  That way, if you do need to reset, it is easy to restore your overclock/RAM settings without having to navigate to the different menus again.
