X-plane 11 and Ryzen 7 5800 X Low FPS

Hello all,

I have the above named with the Taichi RX6800XT GPU & Tomahawk 570 Motherboard and 32 GB RAM.

With particular aircraft that I know are FPS intensive (Zibo) I still only get around 20FPS.  I have played around with overclocking and in-game graphic settings with no luck.

I read that X-plane only uses one core for rendering which causes the low FPS.  Can anyone confirm this and is there a fix they can advise on?

I have, what I regard as a close to top end machine, so my frustration seems to be significantly higher than my FPS.Thank you for any advice.

Yep, same problem here. FPS sits at 20 (no matter what settings), while cpu and gpu tops at 30% usage. I guess X-plane just doesn't work well with AMD components. I've personally fully moved on to msfs now,  where you get twice the fps with visuals that are lightyears ahead of xp. It's fine now that there are good 3rd party aircraft. XP12 will probably perform better tho.
