X & XT

Hello to everyone here again.

Can anyone tell me: What is the difference in the processors when it has at the end of it. X OR XT,  is there really a difference. Here is a example 3600X 3600xt <-------these were  just for a example. It does not matter if it's 5,7,9 I have often wondered about that. I know about cores and threads, but as I posted. Also have not gotten anything for my build but will keep everyone posted about that. Hoping to start getting parts soon. Thanks again in advance for the reply's

XT Processors are refreshes of the previous X-series chips.
They're built on the newer 7nm manufacturing process.

As such, their base clock is the same, but they game some speed at the top end.

If you already have an X-series chip, it really isn't worth the money to bump to an XT.

However, if you're buying new in the 3000-series chips, the XTs will give you a bit more bang for the buck.
