Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Wraith Prism LED Cooler, Ryzen 7 3700X 

Computer almost built and now I am having a second thought.

Does the cooler have any protective layer to be removed prior to installation ?

I just installed it out of the box.

There is a pre applied thermal pad that needs to be carefully protected when it's removed from the plastic box.

I have an RGB header on my motherboard so I connected the LED on my Wraith Prism fan to the RGB system so that MSI's software could manage it as desired.

I use AMD's largest fan on a 65W CPU and the reason was more the glowing AMD than its improved thermal performance.

I fits in nice with the flowing EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 on the top of the card,
