The Ryzen 2700x has a TDP of 105 Watts, so you can go by that to decide what CPU Cooler you need. Need to be sure the CPU Cooler supports and covers the entire processor and is made for AM4 Socket motherboards.

The AMD CPU Cooler should be sufficient to maintain your processor from overheating under normal loads. But if you plan to Overclock then you may consider a liquid CPU Cooler instead.

Yes it is (Rated for 150W), But you may end up using the AM3+ clips (works just fine on AM4 boards) instead of the proper AM4 mounting kit depending on whether its the new or old stock (Box should tell you if it has the AM4 kit included). in any case, like others have said, you you should consider AIOs if you can. Avoid the 120mm AIOs though as tower coolers can do just as good a job as those while also being cheaper.

Yes. The 212 is one of the top value coolers. Look for am4 support as older ones don't have it. Many use a proprietary clip-on fan and if it fails you buy another 212. Others use metal clips that can fit any 120mm case fan.
