Re: what is the problem with 8350 cpu? in Processors While AMD didn't exactly lie about the specs, they never exactly told the truth either. Those processors were suppose to have 8 functional cores, but due to a bunch of stuff i don't understand there is only 6 functional cores and something about the way the threads were set up. I have received a email about the recall from the organization that is doing the class action lawsuit, and the whole thing looks legit, but I live in Canada and just chatted with newegg.ca and they tell me that my cpu wasn't part of the recall.
