I have a AM4 socket motherboard currently using an A12-9800 CPU. How can I determine what its upgrades could be? Do I simply select any AM4 socket cpu's? I believe the board has a 2016 mfg. date. In the past I would always buy the motherboard replacement at the same time I upgraded the cpu. Since AMD allows more flexiilty with just a cpu replacement, I thought I'd do that this time. Motherboard is currently problem free. Thanks all?
