Hi,
I would like to ask if AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X is dealing well with kvm virtualization?
Additional question: does it work with VmWare ESXi 6.7 and/or Hyper-V?
It's going to be used for quite large virtualization environment (home lab but used intensively). Dozen or more simultenous guest going to be a norm.
Intended guests: Linux + Windows 7 and newer
Has anybody some experiance with that?
Regards
Jan
See if this Article about Vmware is useful: Here's What's New in vSphere 6.7 -- Virtualization Review
Also if this concerns a Server type environment maybe posting your question on this specific AMD Server Forum may be more useful: AMD Server Gurus .
fred.filozof, I have used Hyper-V on Ryzen 1800X and TR 1950X, nothing fancy but it worked well. Enjoy, John.

Hyper-V works from windows 10 and windows server too.
AMD does not bork hardware like Intel is famous for
