Hello. ryzen 2700 in AIDA64 cache stress test, error, is this normal or am I having problems with the processor? Thanks in advance
I wanted to add that the motherboard MSI X470 gaming plus max, and the error crashes only when xmp-profile 2 (3600mhz) is turned on, kingston 16gb ddr4 memory is 3600 cl18 288 (HX436c18fb4 / 16).
According to MSI QVL List for Pinnacle Processors (2xxx) there is no RAM compatible at 3600Mhz: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X470-GAMING-PLUS-MAX#support-mem-14
The fastest RAM Speed is 3466Mhz which probably explains why it has issues when Overclocked at 3600Mhz.
Of course the list could be Out-dated.
So it is possible that results could be because your RAM may not be 100% compatible with CPU and Motherboard.
But if your computer is working normally without any BSODs or crashes than I doubt you have a bad processor.
If you want you can open an Online AMD Service Request (Official AMD SUPPORT) and ask them if they believe AIDA64 test results indicates a bad CPU from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form
