Should Ryzen 7 processors be aesthetically perfect out of the box?

I recently bought a ryzen 1700x, and when I opened it, I noticed there was a black mark, in which I thought at first it was a burn mark. I am not sure, and am hoping it could be discoloration of some sort, but was wondering what you guys are thinking. Is this a normal thing with ryzen processors, or is this something to worry about? Here it is in its packaging. Here are some pics:

If you mean the mark above the © 2016 AMD, that's a QR code, not a defect, or the little smudge at the bottom, just a smudge from something, should rub off with your thumb.

Yeah, the "smudge". it it was unopened though. Is that normal? For something to be on the CPU when unopened?

It went through a lot of steps, anything could happen. Plug it in, warranty starts from the day you get it.

If the CPU box is sealed hence you have to break that seal to open I wouldn't worry
