I have a SATA M.2 SSD, it's 240 GB but I was wondering if AMD can use that kind of a SSD or not.
The manual for the MSI B350M Bazooka does not mention it one way or the other. The CPU manual is also slim pickings.

Your motherboard dictates which M.2 formats are accepted by its M.2 interfaces. AMD has nothing to do with it.
Your motherboard supports all SATA formats for the m.2 drive slot so it will work fine.
It fits fine but the SSD is a dinosaur so I was not sure how suitable it is.
For 240GB is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick,
