Ryzen Master 2.6.1.1797 issue perhaps with AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.1 Patch A?

Hi all,

I am having an issue with Ryzen Master. I have version 2.6.1.1797 installed and it has been working perfectly.

I have just recently updated my BIOS (ASUS Crosshair VIII Impact) to 3402 which updates AGESA to V2 PI 1.2.0.1 Patch A. After the BIOS update I fired up Ryzen Master and it now looks like it is broken (refer image). Could the BIOS update have affected Ryzen Master? I also updated to RADEON 21.3.1 (WHQL version) at the same time that I updated the BIOS, but I can't see this causing an issue with Ryzen Master. As a check, I fired up HWiNFO and this seems to still be working fine.

Any assistance would be gratefully received.

I just updated to 1818 using old RM and it would no run at all.  I went to the RM site, DLed and installed it and it seems OK.  Please try RM 1818 from https://www.amd.com/en/technologies/ryzen-master .  Enjoy, John.

The RM QRG mentions to uninstall and then reinstall RM after a bios update, try that..

Hi goodplay,

Thank you for the suggestion as it is a good one.

However I am sorry to say that this tip did not fix my particular issue. I tried both a simple Uninstall -> Reinstall without any luck, then tried Uninstall -> Reboot -> Install, but this also did not fix the issue unfortunately.

There are some other tips/suggestions in the QRG, have you tried them also.

Hi John,

Thank you very much for the tip. I am very happy to say that RM 1818 solved my issue.

In future I will check the dedicated RM page rather than just looking at the Drivers & Support page for version updates.
