Ryzen can't handle recording gameplay

I make YouTube videos that require a lot of gameplay, I upgraded to the ryzen7-1800x this past week and whenever I record, I drop so many frames it's unbearable to play. I need to be recording at 120 fps on Overwatch and I can no longer do it, it staggers anywhere from 80fps to 110fps in the matter of every 2 seconds. it's constantly fluctuating. I tried recording other games and got similar results, unplayable and aim is dragging terribly. Old build was i5-4690k/gtx 980 and it handled it fine. constant 120. I can't record anything now and I have no idea why. Anyone else having similar issues? Current build is Ryzen 1800x/32gb ddr4/500gb SSD/1 TB HDD/gtx 980/v550 psu

Re: Ryzen can't handle recording gameplay

I don't have this issue, but use Relive for any recording with the AMD 390X not an Nvidia tool.

As a matter of fact, I recorded this on an AMD 1800X and had no issues with the recording. It is not 120FPS, because my screen can only do 60fps and I usually record 30fps but looks good to me

Re: Ryzen can't handle recording gameplay

Are you using ShadowPlay? If so, you'll need to report it to NVidia.
