Ryzen 9 5900x whea-logger ID:1

Jump to solution

Hello,

for some time now I own an AMD Ryzen 9 5900x and sometimes about once a month I have in event viewer this error: "A fatal hardware error has occurred. A record describing the condition is contained in the...", I do not experience any BSOD or slower crashing system or apps. Should I be worried about this error? I am still waiting for MSI to release new Bios with Agesa Combo 1.1.9.0 patch(for now it is only in beta version) to see if it get rid of these error. I also experienced another whea error, but it was because of XMP profile enabled which I hope it will be resolved in new BIOS, too.

So, should I be worried about this things or not?

The 1.1.9.0 (or 1.2.0.0) AGESA does indeed fix it. If you aren't crashing and don't want to use a beta BIOS, it's fine to wait.
