My question would be, what do you plan to do with your machine? For gaming, rather get 5800X3D or simply a 5700. For productivity, is there a major price difference between 5900 and 5950 where you live?

Your cooler is likely sufficient, though I have not read any tests. Why not google it to see how it performs in reviews.

I have the R9 5900X '0' stepping. which is 1st gen/iteration which does get a tad hot, I believe later revisions run cooler. I'm cooling it with a Thermaltake Big Water 3.0 360mm AIO and temps is all over the place, right now, with background apps running and surfing the net, I get between >40C to 60C. But when gaming, it isn't that bad, I get >70C but never exceeding 80C. Not the best temps, but good enough.

Download and run CPU-Z, it'll give you all relevant info about your CPU....

5700x---35e---5800x

is there reason to go for 5800x over 5700x?

Yes I plan on mainly gaming and the 5700x3d is the same price as a 5900 just didn’t know what is better and if the 5900 would be too hot for a 240 aio.The 5950 is too high of a price.

5800x3d in some games can compete with new generation.

At PCPARTPICKER I inputted the AMD Ryzen 5900X processor to show all compatible CPU Cooler. Here are the results: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/cpu-cooler/?compatible_with=KwLwrH

I used a filter to show all Corsair AIO 240 MM CPU Cooler at the above link:

EDIT: FYI: Your Ryzen R9-5900X has a TDP Rating of 105 Watts. So you will need a CPU Cooler rated in excess of 150 or higher TDP rating.

The Maximum Operating Temperature of the 5900X is 90c.
