Hello.  It seems that during Warzone, my brand new Ryzen 7 3700x gets up to the high 70's, and even sometimes the low 80's.  Wondering if this is normal, if it is throttling, if it has defective cooling, and what I can do to manage this.  No PBO or overclocking, everything is stock.

Maybe the thermal paste was poorly applied before being shipped out of the factory?

It's hotter than desired but well within the CPU thermal limits.

You might be losing 100MHz or so on your all core clocks.

The CPU doesn't majorly throttle unless it hits 95C.

Try increasing your fan curve a little.
