Ryzen 5 5600x with MSI b450m gaming plus bios

Has anybody been problems trying to install 5600x with the new 7B87v1F2(Beta version) bios update for the msi b450m gaming plus? My old ryzen 5 1600 works fine but when I put the 5600x, the ez debug led lights up red for the cpu and I have no display. The msi tech support said its either my cpu but the chip is fine or I have to wait for a new bios update. If anybody has run into this problem and knows any fixes, please reply.

Have you also tried asking on the MSI forum.

I’m having the exact same issue. Coming from the Ryzen 2600. I’ve updated with the latest BIOS that says it supports the 5000 series, but the freaking BIOS doesn’t even boot up. Just a black screen.

I’m having the exact same problem coming from the 2600. Same exact motherboard, updated BIOS, but with the 5600x it doesn’t even boot to the BIOS. Just a black screen. Sucks no one seems to have an answer yet...
