Hello guys i need some help, some opinion.
I have budget PC
Ryzen 3 1200 stock
Asrock a320m-dvs r.3.0
8gb ram ddr4 Patriot viper 4
RX 560 4gb
This PC is great for me i play only esport's game and sometimes play game like metro low settings.
But i have issue with my memory.
I canno't set up more then 2666
but ok i decided to leave this.
The problem is in prime95 blend test i have random error with 16-18-18-18-36 2666 but system full stability
but with settings 14-15-15-15-36 2400 it's everything ok no error in p95.
i'm testing now low timing like 12-15-15-15-36 2400
result in fire strike CL16: 5707
result in Fire strike CL14: 5690
My question is it's will be a big difrence in game?
Every know the ryzen like more speed ram than timings...
What should i do?
Leave 2400mhz and fighting for low timings or leave 2666 with p95 error but system looks good?
Given your low power video card it's not going to make a meaningful difference.
For now i tested and no error with cl 12-13-13-13-32 2400 and i leave this.
But in some weeks i plan to buy rx 570 will be ok with this speed ram and cpu?
And why i cant get 2666 without error?
Dual or singl rank make a difrence to oc speed ram?
Not all RAM will run flawlessly on every motherboard. Your motherboard manufacturer has a QVL list on their support page which lists which RAM modules are guaranteed to run at their rated speeds.
Ok i think i leave this on 2400 cl12 it is not that bad
I leave on 2666 becouse on this speed system full stability.
Occt pass 1 hour
Aida 64 stability test pass 4 hour
Memtest passes 3
But prime95 blend test fails on 2666 and on 2400 is everything good
Again this CPU is max 26xx for ram - see link in other thread!
Your motherboard sets the maximum RAM speed capabilities, not the CPU.
In terms of overclocking, yes, but default speed is what the CPU dictates!
... and overclocking is out of manufacturer's responsibility hence guarantee!
