Recent updates by Microsoft prevents PC with AMD chip from booting up

What is AMD doing to fix all the PC's affected by the most recent Microsoft updates? Will the problem be addressed in the near future? What option's do we have as customers of AMD if the problem is not fixed soon? I have an older PC with an AMD Turion X2 that has been affected by this problem?

The updates will not come directly from AMD, but from system and OS providers, so users will need to check if they’ve received the updates from them.
