Hi all, I have a AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor with RAM: CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 Corsair 16GB to 3200Mhz.
I have not quite clear how much the processor can support as a maximum of Mhz, I can use all the 3200Mhz or with Ryzen 5 I have a maximum threshold? Am I using all the Mhz RAM available or am I "limited" by a maximum threshold?
For example, upgrading the BIOS can be made to support more than now Mhz?
Thanks in advance, I look forward to your answers
u probably need to overclock the cpu to support higher memory frequency
Is that exact RAM model on your motherboard's QVL list for 3200mhz? Also, is it version 4 or 5, because version 4 is Samsung and version 5 is Hynix, the former has better compatibility than the latter.

Here are some places to check on information about processors.
See the sections on memory controller and supported memory.

And as always, check the motherboard manufacturers web site to find the compatible processors and RAM for your motherboard...
(check the users manual for any notes about RAM)
