Hello Community,
I need your help...
My PC keeps crashing for quite some time now, my windows just restarts and the following error message appears in the event viewer:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fatal hardware error.
Reported by component: Processor core
Error source: Machine Check Exception
Error type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 12
The detail view of this entry contains further information.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
My components are:
X570 Asus ROG Strix E-Gaming
Ryzen 5800X
RTX 3080
Power supply: Corsair RM650
ADATA XPG Spectrix D60G DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-3600, CL17-18-18
What I have already tried:
Windows incl. chipset and other drivers reinstalled.
latest BIOS version is already installed (3402) - here it might be important to mention that the error already occurred with the previous BIOS version as well and therefore I directly updated the BIOS to version 3402 in the hope that it might help.
did not use OC, neither XMP nor PBO - deactivated everything to exclude that as well
checked power supply fan - ok
cooling as well as temperatures also ok
What I could observe so far is:
If I directly start CoD and e.g. gamble, the PC does not crash.
When I run prime95 also not
The PC crashes, if I e.g. Windows directly started and something on the Internet surf, so do not elaborate
Maybe someone has an idea or possibly the same problem as me
