PBO ON AUTO VS PBO ENABLED

Hey so i just wanted to know i have a 5900x and a Msi b550 Tomahawk MAG and i went into the bios and i saw these two settings Core performance boost and PBO now i want to know can i put the pbo from auto to enabled? Will that improve anything? And the core performance boost i can either set it on disabled or auto pls help.

I would leave both on " Auto".

Auto means that BIOS will decide when to use that feature. If you "Enable" PBO then it will be on all the time.

If are having issues you can disable PBO or Core Boost  or both for troubleshooting purpose in the future.

You can, if you want to, enable PBO and see if  you have any problems or not.  PBO is AMD feature for safely overclocking your Ryzen processor automatically.
