Im looking for the retention brackets for the Wraith cooler that comes with the AMD Ryzen 7 2700x processor. They werent included in the box, and I cant seem to find them on Amazon, and a google search is just stupid web forums and youtube videos. You would think that would be something that would come with the cooler, or at least MAYBE it would be in the product description that they arent included, and where to get them. That would be nice.

If you are talking about the Wraith Brackets that holds it in place to the motherboard then I would suggest you open a AMD WARRANTY REQUEST and see if they will send you one under Warranty from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/warranty-information/rma-form 

Doesn't your motherboard have those brackets installed already?

No. I'm upgrading from a Ryzen 5 which had a wraith cooler that screwed directly into the mother board. But yes, I was speaking of those very brackets you mentioned. Many of the reviews on both the stand alone cooler, and the processor with the cooler stated that it didnt come with its own brackets, but I cant seem to find the darned things. Ill try the warranty request as you suggested, I just assumed they didnt come with brackets.

You CPU processors come with a Wraith Prism CPU Cooler. I would also ask your Motherboard Support to see if they can send you the retention brackets or much it would cost.
