My Support Ticket

Email-ID: 378426-1
Question:I have 2 current issues.

First, I have installed my 2 sticks of RAM into slots DDR4_1 and DDR4_2 as shown on the motherboard and in the motherboard book, and the BIOS reports them as being in slot 3 and 4, and the opposite occurs when installed into the other 2 slots.

Secondly, when the XMP profile is enabled, the motherboard will attempt to boot 3 times, then revert itself to disable the XMP profile.

At a guess, I have a feeling the XMP issue might be related to the incorrect identification of the DDR4 slots by the BIOS itself. But I am no engineer.

Dear Mathew Todd:

For the DIMM slots order shows differently in BIOS, it actually relates to CPU due to RAM controller comes from CPU directly.

However this behavior doesn't relate to XMP failure.

Please kindly be noted that RAM performance above 2666MHz may varies by CPU condition, we did indicated this from our site.

Please try to check with other different CPU and follow our memory support list to choose RAM module:

Thank you.
