I bought a Ryzen 7 1700X but want to know If I can use it with the internal VGA adapter that brings the motherboard.
This motherboard is MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC.
I just wanted to know because the processor specs says the AMD Ryzen 7 1700X does not come with integrated VGA graphic card.
For instance, in the hypothetical case I have my PCIe external VGA Graphic card broken down, my question is: Will I use the default VGA adapter either HDMI or Display port with no issue.
What does it mean when AMD Ryzen 7 1700X says it does not come with internal VGA graphic card?
Please help me out.
joselbrear, I know of no MBs with GPU support. Ask the MB vendors if any are available, but like you say the 1700X has no IGU. So, no picture with no PCIe GPU card. Enjoy, John.
If you want to save some money you can purchase a Ryzen APU (CPU with integrated Graphics). Then you don't need a separate GPU card.
But for playing the latest games at its best settings, it is best to use a separate GPU card in your computer which tends to be more powerful than Integrated Graphics.
