Linux AMDGPU driver Athlon 3000G

Is there a working driver for the Athlon 3000G APU graphics chip?

I have tried several Linux kernels from 5.3.0 to 5.4.7 and they all fail with the following errors. It is the same with various LiveDVDs. For now the system is working with the VESA driver, but of course without HW accelerated graphics.

    The previous kernel 5.4.6 worked with no crashes. There was still the same stack trace, but no "Wait loop timed out" or "iommu ivhd0: AMD-Vi" error. Same kernel .config was used for both kernels.

    The system is small headless machine with the new low-power AMD Athlon 3000G APU with integrated VEGA 3 graphics (4)
    Motherboard is a Gigabyte B450M. Two intel PCIe NICs are present.

check to see if there is a kernel update, the CPU is kind of new so the kernel support may not be 100% for a while

Hi. Thank you for the suggestions.

I have tried with Fedora and Ubuntu. Same warnings and errors in the dmesg on both. With all kernels from 5.0 to 5.4.6 they booth with this issue. 5.4.7 crashes completely.

I suspect a new kernel will surface soon given you are not the only report of crashes with 5.4.7 out there.

Seems there is a fix for this specific crash in kernel 5.4.14.

It will cause modprobe atombios stuck problem in raven2 if it doesn't allow direct upload save restore list from gfx driver. So it needs to allow direct upload save restore list for raven2 temporarily.
