My RYZEN 1700x has high temperature (about 65C in idle). This is normal or not?
Zalman 12CNSP installed on processor.
Not normal at all. What board do you have? Can we have a pic from your system?
- Maybe your BIOS still has the +20deg offset and your real temps are 45 on idle. Still, 45 is a lot. Here with a Noctua cheap cooler is 30deg.
- Check if your cooler is well seated. Enough thermal paste etc....
- How is your PC airflow, fan speeds?
- What's your actual CPU usage in the task manager when the CPU is 65deg?
Hello!Later I upload pictures of my system.
I have ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO mother board with updated BIOS. I installed ZALMAN CNSP 12X on processor.Cooler is well seated I have enough paste
Actual CPU usage in task manager 1-3%.All Components installed in CORSAIR t600 case.
Picture of CASE.Other photos later....
Wow! Nice power supply.
Well...no, 65 at idle is not normal. You need to see what's causing that.
Other pictures of my system!
Everything fine/Yesterday I installed AMD RYZEN MASTER Utility and this utility show real temperature of processor 30-35C idle.
Thank for your help!
