I have recently installed a FX 8350 into my computer. Since then the computer has been freezing, and the only way to fix it is to do a hard reset.

Specs:

GPU: MSI Gtx 1060 6GB

CPU: FX 8350

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3

RAM: 2x G.Skill DDR3-1333 4GB (F3-10600CL9D-8GBNT)

PSU: Cooler Master GX 550W

I have replaced the hard drive, reinstalled windows 10, and used the two sticks of RAM individually, the computer is still freezing.

Checking CPU support for that Motherboard shows the FX 8350 not supported depending on what Revision board you have.

Which revision of that motherboard are you using? Revision 3 and 1.4 support the 8350, whereas 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 do not. The revision will be printed on the motherboard itself.
