I need to do a warranty request but it's asking for the serial number. Is there a way to determine the serial number without removing the heatsink? No I don't have the box still.

robbierobski, you can try this in an administrator Command Prompt:  wmic bios get serialnumber

Your S/N should appear below Serial Number

I get this: To be filled by O.E.M.

The CPU Processor box comes with all the information you need but if you threw away the box with the label, the only chose you have is to remove the CPU Cooler and clean the CPU surface of all thermal paste.
