Hello, can I put my current cooler I got to my FM2+ Athlon x4 880k onto an AM4 Ryzen 5 1600x? I would like to buy the Ryzen now. The cooler is basically the same as the Wraith but without the illumination (as far as I know) Thanks in advance!
Socket FM2 and Socket AM4 use different mounting bracket spacing, so no, but all Ryzen processors except the 1800X ship with a cooler. However, you would be best advised to buy a X400 series motherboard and Ryzen 2000 series processor.
