Hi,

I have this system:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 -  cpu FOR dt (8c / 16t, 20MB Cache)-3.0 GHz Base /3.7 GHz Precision

SN: 9R64380N70127

MainBoard: ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS

Memory:  Memoria DDR4 Crucial 16GB/2400 - Supported by MainBoard List.

SO: Linux Ubuntu 18.04 - updated.

The system freeze after long idle or some times freeze without reason.

I read in internet forums some people with same processors problems, they call guarantee to substitute, solve the problem.

Is it my processor in this failure list?

What I need todo?

If you believe you CPU may be defective, open a AMD WARRANTY REQUEST form and they will tell you if it needs to be replaced or not. AMD Warranty Request Form

If not applicable than open a EMAIL AMD SUPPORT ticket and ask them if your CPU is listed as a defective CPU: Email Form
