AMD Ryzen 7 3800X

Hi,

I have a question!
Im doing my first PC and i buy the Ryzen 7 3800X, i buy the MB Gigabyte x570 Gaming X.

I know they are compatible, but my question is : Did i need to do the BIOS update for the CPU ?

All x570 boards will natively support the Ryzen 3000 chips out of box, that chipset was released in tandem with the 3000 series. The only ones you'll need to be aware of are now with the 5000 series processors or if you are going to use a 470 or lower chipset motherboard
