AMD Ryzen 7 2700 2th generation + RAM HyperX Predator Black DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3000MHz DDR4 CL15,

Good afternoon,

i would like to build a new PC and i want to buy AMD Ryzen + RAM (in subject). I´ve checked approved and supported RAM and i found HyperX Predator Black DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3000MHz DDR4 CL15, Part No HX430C15PB3K2/16 and these RAMs  have 3000Mhz frequency but AMD Ryzen support max 2933Mhz. I´m little bit confused. It would be ok or not? More information in attachement. Many thanks

AMD's official max is 2933 MHz, which is a bit conservative. In practice, it is best to use RAM from the motherboard QVL memory list. If that is where you got the "supported RAM" above (you haven't stated which motherboard you intend to use), then it has been tested working at 3000, so it should work OK at 3000. Of course, if you buy faster rated RAM, you can always run it at slower speed.
