AMD RYZEN 3 2200G

Hello I would like to buy a motherboard compatible with an AMD 3 RYZEN 2200G but I was told that on this motherboard I had to update and that I had to have another processor at AMD to be able to do that and I have been told that you are pre-empting it. May you inform me about this please.
