The AMD family name is indicated by the numbering, such as HD6XXX (6000 series graphics card family) or HD 7XXX (7000 series graphics card family).

Retail boxed processors are AMD processors that are sold in AMD branded packaging, and have a three year replacement warranty, along with an AMD recommended heat sink and fan.
Tray or OEM processors are sold in bulk and do not include a heat sink and fan. Tray and OEM processor warranties are provided by the retailer/place of purchase or an OEM manufacturer such as DELL, HP or Lenovo.

This height difference allows the half-height or low profile graphics card to be installed into smaller sized cases.

AMD FirePro™ graphics cards are built by AMD and designed for professional graphics users. They have a 3-year AMD warranty and may be used with leading CAD and DCC applications including 3DS Max, AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor, Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Pro/ENGINEER Siemens NX, and SolidWorks.
