AMD mb 48.4m002.011 (notebook Lenovo B475). Can I use CPU A8-3500M on this motherboard? (There is E2-3000M as default CPU)

Hello everyone!

I have an idea to upgrade my old laptop Lenovo B475. New RAM and SSD already plugged in, but it's still not enough. Because of CPU E2-3000M (2 cores, 2 threads). The weakness of CPU feels harder after upgrading OS to Windows 10.

So, I'm curios about compability of motherboard 48.4m002.011 with more powerful processors on FS1-socket, like A8-3500M. Is there any chance that components to work together?

And sorry for my bad English. It's not my native language.)

You usually cannot upgrade laptop computers. However, you should check your options with Lenovo.

I already asked Lenovo about this. They said "Ask AMD". Because of components made by AMD.

In that case, no, you cannot upgrade that laptop motherboard processor.
