Asus M5A97 R2.0 Advanced → CPU Configuration → SVM

Sorry if I speak little English.

AMD FX-6100, Asus M5A97 R2.0, Corsair XMS3 CMX8GX3M2B1600C9

Windows 7 professional 64 bit.

BIOS 2603

I have to run XP Mode and BlueStacks.

I installed Speccy.

If in the bios set : Advanced → CPU Configuration → SVM Enable

Speccy tells me Virtualization Supported, Disabled.

And I work with BlueStacks and no Virtual PC.

If in the bios set : Advanced → CPU Configuration → SVM Disabled

Speccy tells me Virtualization Supported, Activated.

And I work XP mode and not Bluestacks.

with havdetectiontool

If in the set bios: Advanced → CPU Configuration → SVM Enable

The message appears

This computer is configured with hardware assisted virtualization.

But Virtual PC does not work. Bluestack works.

If in the bios set : Advanced → CPU Configuration → SVM Disabled .

The message appears

Hardware assisted virtualization is not enable on this computer.

But Virtual PC works well. Bluestack not works.

On IOMMU MODE Enabled, it does not change anything.

On IOMMU MODE Disable, it does not change anything.

On IOMMU MODE  64MB, it does not change anything.

What should I do?

Thanks....

I've fixed it with Hotfix Windows6.1-KB2519949-x64.

https://support.microsoft.com/it-it/help/2519949/you-cannot-install-windows-xp-mode-on-a-windows-7-b...

bios set : Advanced → CPU Configuration → SVM Enable.

Speccy say

Virtualization Supported, Disabled

But XP Mode works.

Thanks bye.

Virtualization is supported by the CPU and the motherboard as indicated here:http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM3+/M5A97_LE_R2.0/E7460_M5A97_LE_R2.pdf

I would recommend that you make sure that the motherboard has the latest Bios and then enable Virtualization within the BIOS only without the use of any 3rd party software.
