AMD Athlon 64 X 2 4850e

I have an ACER RS780HVF that has an AMD Athlon 64 X 2 4850e processor and was looking for suggestions on upgrading the processor in this motherboard. The system runs rather slow and the motherboard is somewhat dated. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

What is the Acer Make & Model of your PC that uses that OEM Acer Motherboard?

I was able to find one old Acer Aspire M3201 that uses that OEM Acer motherboard. Since I don't have the S/n to input to get the specs you will need to do that if that is the PC that you have from here: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/support-product/348?b=1

Possibly under "Product Details" it will list all the CPUs that are compatible for upgrading in that PC with your motherboard and BIOS version needed.

Otherwise, You will need to contact Acer Support to find out your PC CPU SUPPORT LIST and which BIOS version you will need to upgrade your processor.

Note: From reading various Threads concerning your motherboard it is a AM2 Socket Motherboard with a Maximum Processor TDP of 95 Watts.
