AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon(TM) HD

I see that my prossor will not work with windows 11. Can you upgrade a prossor or do I have to buy a new chipset and board?

Thanks,

Bill

You will have to replace both motherboard and processor, there is a windows 11 processor support list you can find on the web.

Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, Aorus gen4 1tb, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T..

Deleted my reply since the A6-5200 is also a Desktop version and not solely a Laptop processor.

If you have the A6-5200 installed on a Desktop you will need to upgrade to a AM4 Motherboard for a Ryzen Zen+ or newer processor. If it is a laptop then you can't upgrade the APU since it is soldered to the motherboard thus you will need to purchase a new laptop with Windows 11 support.
