4000u series throttling a lot while on battery?

Hi! I've bought Yoga Slim 7 with 4700u, 16gb ram and 512gb ssd and it works perfectly fine... until I disconnect it from the charger and use battery. I mean it's not that noticeable in everyday use, just not as snappy and responsive compared to when the charger is connected. So I tried geekbench and userbenchmark several times and the results are the same. Both single and multicore score goes down almost by 50% when on battery. Both power plan settings and lenovo vantage performance settings are set on maximum performance, so in theory this shouldn't happen.

Here is a comparison with MateBook X Pro with a i5-8250u with and without charger. As we can see, both laptops gain performance while connected to a charger, but I think AMD went a little bit too much on throttling to save the battery. Around 15% gain on MateBook vs. over 60% gain on Yoga Slim 7.

Did any of you experience the same with your 4000u series laptops?

I have that laptop, the LPDDR4X variant. Without knowing the battery and boost speeds of the Matebook-D, I would say that it is boosting more under battery and less under AC power than the Slim 7, but Geekbench isn't exactly the most definitive of tests.
