What is the safe maximum temp for threadripper 1950x? My rig has the following:

Corsair AX  1200i modular power supply

1950x cpu

Alphacool water cooling for cpu

Asus ROG X399 Zenith Extreme motherboard

Samsung 960 Pro NVME 1TB M2 SSD

2 X Samsung 850 pro 512gb SSD

64Gb Gskill ram

2 MSI GTX Geoforce 1080i cards

So I just built a 1950x system with the same MOBO. I'm using the ThermalTake Flo Riing 360. System is reporting my CPU is about 61*c when Idle. But some sites report max safe temp is 68*c.

My cpu idle temp is in the low 30c range. Normal operating temps. an the 40 to 50c range. When gaming temps are in the low 60c range. Was wondering about max temp for the 1950x because i also read somewhere 68c was the recommended max temp. Wonder where black_zion  got his info that 91c is the max temp?

Threadripper is Ryzen based, and Ryzen processors have an absolute maximum operating temperature of 95*C, so the safe extended operating temperature will be below that.
