Sinkclose 'No fix planned' - a right royal pain in the proverbial

Why did I spend a fairly large amount on a 3000 AMD CPU to find out they can't be bothered to provide a fix for a serious security flaw? Next time I upgrade I'll measure up the second thoughts about going AMD. Not a good look.
